Survey Results: Problematic Dynamics

Based on your results you have some signs of problematic tech based relationship dynamics. The concerns can look different for each person, so ideally we would schedule a coaching session to explore your specific attachment, trauma, relationship needs and patterns…. all moving towards finding the right relationships and structures for you, within technology.

Some of the common areas to consider:

  • Neglecting caring for your physical form (movement, food, water, ground, rest)

  • Emotional shut down and fear around sharing selves with humans AFK *Away from keyboard, patterns of rejection or abandonment in your life

  • Difficulty communicating in person, or with different, new humans

  • frequency and intensity of digital relationships more than those AFK

  • Difficulty daily reality testing the relationships to assess if you’re experiencing the interactions with a grounded perspective.

  • Clear role of power and money in relationships (how many of my connections do I pay for in some way)

  • Experiences of psychosis, loss of time or reality while in tech

  • Relying on AI for emotional well-being daily

  • Holding wildly different, secretive identities that never cross the digital barrier

  • feeling targeted, victimized, unwanted, unable to be in your body, your skin, your identities, your life AFK

If any of these patterns resonate for you, schedule a session today.

01 — Extractive Exchange
The Broken Circuit
SOURCE labour / care attention / need $ gate / barrier POOL + + + — return path severed — × ↔ unequal capacity · ✗ exchange incomplete · ✗ one party exits vulnerability
The circuit is broken. Energy, care, and labour flow one direction and accumulate. Money or structural power acts as a gate — it lets the powerful party opt out of needing anything back. Think of domestic labour: women's emotional and physical work flows continuously into households and economies, while the return — pay, recognition, rest, safety — is severed. Or colonialism: land, knowledge, and bodies extracted, wealth pooled elsewhere, the return path not just broken but deliberately destroyed. Exploitation isn't chaos. It's a very organised circuit with the loop cut out.
02 — The Closed System
What "Opting Out" Actually Looks Like
collective / relational field B C D E CLOSED SYSTEM "I don't need anyone" × × × × closed systems don't achieve freedom · they decay
"I don't need anything from anyone" is not power — it's a closed system. In biology, thermodynamics, and relational neuroscience: closed systems decay. White supremacy performs this: the fiction of self-made success, rugged individualism, the denial of how much labour, land, and care from others built everything. Patriarchy performs it too — men socialised out of vulnerability, cut off from genuine reciprocity, dying earlier, lonelier, more brittle. The wall that keeps others out keeps the person inside from accessing what the network generates. Isolation dressed as dominance is still isolation.
